First day of the "grind"

hey all, well its the end of my first day of the "grind" at 25/50 c and i have to say it went rather well. Below are my stats for the day.

sum_hands
946

total won
155.75

big blinds per hour
14.952

That basicly gives you a summary of how the day went i played for about 4.5 hours which gives me a hourly rate of $35 bucks and $11.50 per table per hour. not bad.

It has been interesting to view some of my stats using pokertracker such as tilt raked $34.65 and i attempted to steal the blinds 21% of the time. i think some of the stats that this program give will be highly beneficial to my game in the long run!

The hand below stuck me as an interesting hand that could be played serveral different ways:

preflop my play was fine i had position on any caller, however my post flop play was appauling i feel, i should have re raised a 3/4 pot sized bet to attempt to get him off the hand as a semi bluff as well as creating value in the pot to hopefully hit my open ended straight draw, the bet on the turn would have been hard to call but if i was really feeling like a gamble i could have called but at this stage felt i was truely beat. I put him on a range of hands such as QK J10 or QJ or a lower PP prehaps even 99. In the future i will definetly raise that flop and fold to a re raise.

thanks for reading.
